In Re: Motion to Amend
Annual Wage Order No. 7 filed by the Division of Labor Standards,
Department of Labor and Industrial
Relations.
On April 6, 2000 a Motion to Amend Annual Wage Order No. 7
was filed by the Division of Labor Standards with the Labor and Industrial
Relations Commission for the Commission’s consideration and action. Annual Wage Order No. 7 had previously been
filed on March 10, 2000 with the Secretary of State’s office.
The Motion to Amend Annual Wage Order No. 7 was certified to
have been mailed to interested parties on or before April 7, 2000 by Attorney
for Movant. The Motion indicated its
purpose was to correct typographical and grammatical errors discovered by the
Division of Labor Standards subsequent to the filing of the wage order with the
Secretary of State. Attached to the
Motion was the corrected page sought to replace the original filed with the
Secretary of State. The Motion to Amend
Annual Wage Order No. 7 requests that the Commission enter an Order to
Substitute the designated page attached for the original page found in Annual
Wage Order
No. 7, along with any other relief that the Commission deems
appropriate.
On April 11, 2000, the Commission invited written responses
to the Division’s Motion to Amend and directed that any objection must be filed
no later than April 25, 2000. No
objections have been filed to the Division’s Motion to Amend.
Having received no objections, the Commission sustains
Motion to Amend Annual Wage Order No. 7, filed by the Division of Labor
Standards on April 6, 2000.
