In the matter of Objection No. 20 filed April 7, 2000, by
Progressive Electronics, Inc., Energize Electronics, and Electronic Contracting
Company, Inc. (Objectors) to Annual Wage Order No. 7, Section 024, Clay County,
Missouri, issued by the Division of Labor Standards, Department of Labor and
Industrial Relations; filed with the Secretary of State: March 10, 2000
On April 7, 2000, the Labor and Industrial Relations
Commission (Commission) received an objection to the above‑referenced
annual wage order, filed on behalf of Progressive Electronics, Inc., Energize
Electronics, and Electronic Contracting Company, Inc. (Objectors). That objection (Objection No. 20) involved
the wage rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Clay
County, Missouri. On April 19, 2000,
dates for a pre‑hearing conference and hearing were set in regard to the
wage determination and the objection.
At the April 27, 2000, prehearing conference, Objectors
stated their intention to withdraw the objection. On May 3, 2000, the Commission received Objectors’ written
“Withdrawal of Objection” seeking to withdraw Objection No. 20 to Annual Wage
Order No. 7.
The Commission grants Objectors’ request to withdraw
Objection No. 20 to Annual Wage Order No. 7, involving the wage rate for the
occupational title of Communication Technician in Clay County, Missouri. Since Objection No. 20 has been withdrawn
the Commission shall not hold a hearing or issue any further order regarding
that objection to Annual Wage Order No. 7.
The Application to Intervene filed on behalf of IBEW Local Union No. 124
is now moot.
