ORDER
OF COMMISSION
Objection filed April 10, 2000, by Resilient Floor and Decorative Covering Workers, Local 1179 (Objection #45) to Annual Wage Order No. 7, Section 048, Jackson County, Missouri, issued by the Division of Labor Standards, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and filed with the Secretary of State: March 10, 2000.
On April 10, 2000, an objection to the above‑referenced
Annual Wage Order was filed on behalf of the Resilient Floor and Decorative
Covering Workers, Local 1179 (Objector), with the Labor and Industrial
Relations Commission (Commission). A
pre-hearing was set for May 1, 2000 and a hearing was scheduled for May 11,
2000.
On May 1, 2000, the Objector and the Division of Labor
Standards (Division) filed with the Commission a stipulation of fact. The Division and the Objector have agreed
with respect to what wage rate should be paid to “Linoleum Layer & Cutter.” The Commission received no other objections
with respect to the wage rate for that occupational title in Jackson County and
received no Motion to Intervene. The
wage rate to which the parties are agreeing is reflected in the stipulation
that is attached to this Order.
The Commission accepts the rate and fringe benefits
reflected in the stipulation and orders that the rate set forth in the attached
stipulation is the prevailing rate for the craft listed. The Objection is dismissed.
Given at Jefferson City, Missouri, this 10th day of May, 2000.
