In the matter of Objection No. 9 filed March 31, 2000, by
Carpenters District Council of Kansas City and Vicinity (Objector) to Annual
Wage Order No. 7, Section 020, Cedar County, Missouri, issued by the Division
of Labor Standards, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations; filed with
the Secretary of State: March 10, 2000
On March 31, 2000, the Labor and Industrial Relations
Commission (Commission) received an objection to the above‑referenced
annual wage order, filed on behalf of Carpenters District Council of Kansas
City and Vicinity (Objector). That
objection (Objection No. 9) involved the wage rate for the occupational title
of Carpenter in Cedar County, Missouri.
On April 19, 2000, dates for a pre‑hearing conference and hearing
were set regarding the wage determination and the objection.
On April 27, 2000, the City of El Dorado Springs, Missouri
(Intervenor) filed a request to intervene.
On April 27, 2000, a prehearing conference was held. A prehearing order was issued on May 4,
2000. In that prehearing order,
Intervenor’s request to intervene was granted.
The hearing on Objection 9 was set for May 15, 2000.
On May 15, 2000, Objectors filed a written “Withdrawal of
Objection” seeking to withdraw Objection No. 9 to Annual Wage Order No. 7. On that same date, Intervenor filed a motion
to withdraw its request to intervene.
The Commission grants Objectors’ request to withdraw
Objection No. 9 to Annual Wage Order No. 7, involving the wage rate for the
occupational title of Carpenter in Cedar County, Missouri. The Commission grants Intervenor’s motion to
withdraw its request to intervene in Objection No. 9. Since Objection No. 9 and the request to intervene have been
withdrawn, the Commission shall not hold a hearing or issue any further order
regarding Objection No. 9 to Annual Wage Order No. 7.
