Objections filed by Progressive Electronics, Inc., Energize Electronics, Inc., and Electronic Contracting Company, Inc. April 7, 2000, to Annual Wage Order No. 7, pertaining to the wage rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Section 011, Buchanan County, Missouri (Objection No. 19); pertaining to the wage rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Section 051, Johnson County, Missouri (Objection No. 21); and pertaining to the wage rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Section 048, Jackson County, Missouri (Objection No. 22); issued by the Division of Labor Standards, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, filed with the Secretary of State: March 10, 2000.
On April 7, 2000, the Labor and Industrial Relations
Commission (Commission) received Objection Nos. 19, 21 and 22 to the above‑referenced
annual wage order, filed on behalf of Progressive Electronics, Inc., Energize
Electronics, and Electronic Contracting Company, Inc. (Objectors). Objection No. 19 involved the wage rate for
the occupational title of Communication Technician in Buchanan County, Missouri. Objection No. 21 involved the wage rate for
the occupational title of Communication Technician in Johnson County,
Missouri. Objection No. 22 involved the
wage rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Jackson
County, Missouri. On April 19, 2000,
dates for a pre‑hearing conference and hearing were set regarding the
wage determination and the objection.
A prehearing conference was held on April 27, 2000. A prehearing order was issued on May 5,
2000. The hearing on Objection Nos. 19,
21, and 22 was scheduled for May 19, 2000.
On May 17, 2000, the Commission received Objectors’ written
“Withdrawal of Objection” seeking to withdraw Objection No. 19 to Annual Wage
Order No. 7. On May 18, 2000, the
Commission received Objectors’ written “Withdrawal of Objection seeking to
withdraw Objection Nos. 21 and 22 to Annual Wage Order No. 7.
The Commission grants Objectors’ requests to withdraw
Objection Nos. 19, 21, and 22 to Annual Wage Order No. 7, involving the wage
rate for the occupational title of Communication Technician in Buchanan,
Johnson, and Jackson Counties. Since
Objection Nos. 19, 21, and 22 have been withdrawn, the Commission will not hold
a hearing or issue any further order regarding those objections to Annual Wage
Order No. 7. All requests to intervene in
Objection Nos. 19, 21 and 22 are now moot.
