  • Missouri's Minimum Wage Rate to Increase July 24, 2009
  • GENERAL WAGE ORDER NO. 53 HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE AND IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW. GENERAL WAGE ORDER NO. 52 REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL GENERAL WAGE ORDER NO. 53 BECOMES FINAL.
    According to Section 290.260 RSMo 2000, within thirty (30) days after a certified copy of this GWO has been filed with the Secretary of State, any person who may be affected by the GWO may object by filing an objection in triplicate with the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, PO Box 599, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0599. Objections must state the specific grounds in writing. Each objection must certify that a copy has been furnished to the Division of Labor Standards, PO Box 449, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0449. See 8 CSR 20.5010(1).
  • Annual Wage Order No. 16 *** Now in Effect ***
    The Labor and Industrial Relations Commission has issued Orders resolving all objections filed to Annual Wage Order No. 16. Therefore, Annual Wage Order No. 16 is now final and in effect as of May 7, 2009. Click here for details
  • Notice: General Wage Order No. 52 is now final and in effect as of August 7, 2008. more.....
  • Click here for more information regarding new legislation requiring that all employees working for contractors or subcontractors on "Public Works" construction projects complete a 10-hour construction safety training program. This new law goes into effect August 28, 2009. The text of this law can be found in HB 1549 in Section 292.675.
