Annual Wage Order No. 15 *** Now in Effect ***
The Labor and Industrial Relations Commission has issued Orders resolving all objections filed to Annual Wage Order No. 15. Therefore, Annual Wage Order No. 15 is now final and in effect as of May 20, 2008.

Due to a clerical error, Footnote "g" was inadvertantly omitted for Annual Wage Order No. 14 for Washington County for the Occupational Title of Plumber. Footnote "g" has been inserted and applies to the Occupational Title of Plumber.

Due to a clerical error, the rate for First Semi-Skilled Laborer issued in Annual Wage Order No. 14 for Boone County was incorrect. The Basic Hourly Rate should be $20.37 with Total Fringe Benefits of $8.99. Overtime No. 110 and Holiday No. 7.

Based on incorrect information provided to the Division of Labor Standards, the fringe benefit percentage amount issued for the Occupational Title of Electrician (Inside Wireman) in the June Incremental Increase for Annual Wage Order No. 14 was incorrect. It should read 39.5% instead of 39.75%.

Missouri's Prevailing Wage Law establishes a minimum wage rate that must be paid to workers on public works construction projects in Missouri, such as bridges, roads and government buildings. The prevailing wage rate differs by county and for different types of work. The Division of Labor Standards provides prevailing wage rates to public bodies each year in an Annual Wage Order, and to the Missouri State Highway and Transportation Commission in the form of the General Wage Order.

Contractors, public bodies and others submit wage information on wage survey forms to the Division. The information includes actual hours worked on commercial or heavy and highway projects in Missouri. The Occupational Title (classification) of workers must be identified. The highest number of survey hours received for an hourly wage rate paid is the prevailing wage rate for each individual Occupational Title in each county.

Workers on public works projects must be paid at least prevailing wage for the type of work they perform. The Missouri Code of State Regulations Chapter 3, 8 CSR 30-3.060 lists Occupational Titles for different types of tasks in the construction of a public works project in Missouri.
