ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ISSUES IN MISSOURI SET FOR JUNE 9 & 10

Jefferson City, MO – The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ Division of Workers’ Compensation will host the Ninth Annual “Missouri Issues in Workers’ Compensation” conference on June 9 & 10 at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach.  Jack Farris, President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Federation of Independent Business will be the keynote speaker.

The one and one-half day conference examines current issues that affect employers, employees, insurers, medical providers and anyone who comes in contact with the Missouri workers’ compensation system.

General session and workshop topics will include:

· OSHAs New Ergonomic Guidelines for Nursing Homes and General Industry

Registration for the conference is $125.00, which includes all conference materials, luncheon and refreshment breaks.  Paid registrations must be received no later than June 4, 2003.  Exhibitor registration is $200.00 and must be received no later than June 2, 2003.  Registrations should be mailed to the Division of Workers’ Compensation, Attention:  Richard Stickann, P.O.
