ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ISSUES IN MISSOURI SET FOR
JUNE 7 & 8

Jefferson City, MO – The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ Division of Workers’ Compensation will host its Tenth Annual “Missouri Issues in Workers’ Compensation” conference on June 7 & 8 at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri.

The two-day conference examines current issues that affect employers, employees, insurers, medical providers and anyone who comes in contact with the Missouri workers’ compensation system.

General session and workshop topics will include:

• Common Safety Hazards in the Workplace and Abatement Strategies
• Diagnostic Testing for Workers’ Compensation Injuries: What is Needed and Why

• Workers’ Compensation Economic Forecast

• How Insurers Determine Work Comp Premiums and Their Effect on the Employer’s Bottom Line
