Governor Blunt Provides Hurricane Katrina Evacuees Easy Access to Apply for Unemployment Benefits

Jefferson City, MO – Governor Matt Blunt today announced the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has prepared a quick informational sheet for Hurricane Katrina evacuees who are eligible for unemployment insurance benefits.

Evacuees needing to file for unemployment insurance benefits or who need additional information may contact one of the Missouri Regional Claims Centers listed below.
