DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ANNOUNCES MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Jefferson City, MO – Sherman Scott Louthain, a Claims Technician II with the Division of Employment Security’s Kansas City Regional Claims Center, is the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ May Employee of the Month.  Louthain was selected for his knowledge and proficiency in unemployment insurance claims.

On a regular basis, Louthain is responsible for securing and evaluating information required to process state and federal unemployment insurance claims.  His work includes investigating and adjudicating disputed claims, verifying eligibility for payments and complying with all state and federal unemployment insurance laws.

According to his colleagues, Sherman is “always willing to help, proficient and dedicated to his co-workers and the citizens of Missouri.”
